Key initial findings
- The H2 market remains nascent, with low site counts projected through 2030.
- The resulting TAM for RSM software is exceptionally small, and doesn’t merit consideration as a standalone business.
- H2 RSM is required to play as an HRS provider, and could generate hardware pull-through if done well and differentiated.
- The team analyzed Vontier platforms (IS360, ANGI portal, EKOS) to determine potential fit for H2 applications.
- ANGI portal was decided as best suited to address this use case: lower investment, and CNG functionality translates well to H2.
- The project pivoted toward a tactical set of questions to define how best to transition the ANGI portal to serve H2.
